3 reasons why big companies move into Coworking spaces

Sofia Airport Center opened the “Flex-R Lounge” - an entirely new concept for dynamic working space, equipped with everything you need for a high-tech work process - high-speed wireless internet, electricity to each station, modern and adaptable furniture. The project encourages companies and their employees to go beyond the traditional workspace and allows businesses to experiment with various solutions for their employees, without the need to rent an extra office space. The “Flex-R Lounge” provides  50 flexible workstations in the shared area, where people can make phone calls, have a conversation or just relax, without being interrupted.

For the employers, the “Flex-R Lounge” has numerous advantages over the traditional remote working mode, but today we will be highlighting three of them:

Fueling creativity amongst employees

More and more organizations agree that shared workspaces stimulate team creativity. In addition, collaborating with colleagues, outside the corporate environment, often leads to generating new ideas. Whether you are looking for a permanent residence or an alternative space for meetings and events, employees are often positively affected by the change in the work environment.

Sofia Airport Center is a preferred place for various events, entertainment and sports events, themed activities throughout the year, farmers' markets and more. The complex often hosts national and international conferences and seminars - events that bring a great dose of inspiration.

Expanding your business

Larger organizations, looking to expand into a new market, often use coworking spaces to make this transition easier. This way, they create a temporary headquarters using shared spaces and concentrate on growth, without shifting their focus on building an office.

This type of space gives these fast-growing organizations the flexibility to take up more space, if necessary, until they reach the point where finding an office, outside the coworking space, would make sense.

The "Flex-R Lounge" has a total area of 300 square meters and a height of 15 meters and in addition to the workstations there is a board room with a capacity of 10 people and next generation vending machines, taking over the traditional work environment. Integrating elements from the personal life into the work environment, provides a new and different office experience.

Better profitability

When renting an office for the first time, it could be difficult for companies to predict exactly how much space they will need in the upcoming months or years.

Therefore, they often take up more space (at least initially) than necessary. Coworking spaces give corporate customers the flexibility they need to increase or decrease, paying only for the space they need.

Many companies are already enjoying more productive and happier employees, lower costs and increased productivity. Take the first step towards the new horizons that the business is discovering!
